The goal of this lesson is for students to understand that human beings were, first of all, made , and they were made to magnify their Maker.   Just like things that are designed have a designer, we too have a Designer. The students learned that they weren’t created by accident or happenstance, but they were fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Specifically, we used the example of the world’s largest LEGO set. One way to keep it real in the Christian life is to sincerely worship God. No pretense. No phony religious rituals, but simple and sincere worship. So, our lesson tonight focused on the idea of unfiltered worship.   We defined “worship” as “any action or attitude that expresses praise, love, and appreciation for God,” and your students learned this truth: worship is about expressing God’s worth. We also saw how God’s forgiveness and Jonah’s prejudice are displayed in the story of Jonah.   Your stud...
