  Objective – Students will learn that the existence of conscience, morality, and beauty points to the existence of God and will be challenged to respond to God's promptings through their conscience and the Holy Spirit.   Key Scripture – Romans 2:14-15 For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them.   Key Thought – “Morals and beauty point to a Maker.”   Lesson Summary – In our current four-part series, Evidence: Building a Case for the Existence of God, we are looking at the question, “Does God exist?” In tonight’s lesson, your student learned that our consciences and intuitive sense of right and wrong point to the existence of God.   Objective – Students will learn that the intricate design and complexity in the world point to the existence of a Designer and be challenged to stand in awe of God’s creation.   Key Scripture – Romans 1:18-20 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.   Key Thought – “Design suggests a Designer.”   Lesson Summary – This week, we began a new four-part series called Evidence: Building a Case for the Existence of God. In this lesson, your student learned two arguments for the existence of God. First, the fact that the universe has a cause, points to God.   Objective - Students will understand that the Bible applies to the issues of life and will be challenged to develop a strategy for learning and applying the truth of God’s Word.   Key Scripture - James 1:22 – “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”   Key Thought - There’s strength in strategy.   Lesson Summary – This lesson was the fourth in a four-part series called, The Hunt: Discovering the Treasure of God’s Word. Tonight’s lesson discussed the importance of having a strategy for growing in our knowledge and application of God’s Word. Your student was challenged to create their strategy for finding the treasures of Scripture by either hearing God’s Word, meditating on it, studying it, or memorizing it. However, if we know all there is to know about the Bible, but we have not applied it, we have no advantage.
