Key Scripture - John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Summary - Today was the final lesson in a four-part series called Gone Viral: Jesus is Always Trending. Ever since He rose from the dead, the message of Jesus Christ has “circulated rapidly” throughout the ages of time. Jesus is, and will always be, trending because He is the ultimate Trendsetter. Long before the phrase “gone viral” ever existed, Jesus led the way because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Tonight’s lesson was titled, Verified. In this lesson, we recognized that just because something goes viral, does not mean it is verified as being authentic or true. We openly admitted th

Ever since He rose from the dead, the message of Jesus Christ has “circulated rapidly” throughout the ages of time. Unlike the fads of today, Jesus is not just a trend that will one day fade away. Jesus is, and will always be, trending because He is the ultimate Trendsetter. Long before the phrase “gone viral” ever existed, Jesus led the way because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). This lesson focused on a narrative found in John 13:1-17. Summary - Today's lesson was the second lesson in a four-part series called Gone Viral: Jesus is Always Trending. Ever since He rose from the dead, the message of Jesus Christ has “circulated rapidly” throughout the ages of time. And make no mistake, Jesus is not just a trend that will one day fade away. Jesus is, and will always be, trending because He is the ultimate Trendsetter. Long before the phrase “gone viral” ever existed, Jesus led the way because He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). In this lesson, we discovered that Jesus is the great High Priest, that He is 100% God and 100% man, and that He was tempted and remained sinless. Bec

Summary - Today was the first lesson in a four-part series called Gone Viral: Jesus is Always Trending. Ever since He rose from the dead, the message of Jesus Christ has spread like wildfire throughout the ages of time. And make no mistake, Jesus is not just a trend that will one day fade away; Jesus is, and will always be, trending because He is the ultimate Trendsetter. Long before the phrase “gone viral” ever existed, Jesus led the way because He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).   Objective - Students will learn the need for Christian community and will be encouraged to pursue genuine relationships with other believers in Jesus Christ. Key Scripture - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Summary - This lesson is the last of a four-part series on Christian Basics called It’s Game Time: Working Together to Win. Today we learned about the origin, importance, and benefits of Christian community. Despite living in a very connected time with smartphones and social media, many people are starving for genuine friendships. Humans weren’t designed for isolation. We are social beings.
