This lesson sought to give healthy parameters on friendships while encouraging your student to also consider what type of friend they are being. The constant struggle in the social life of many teens is the yearning to be accepted by peers as an individual. Key Scripture - 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Summary – Today’s lesson was the first lesson of a four-part series on relationships. The title of the series is Relationship Goals: Navigating with Wisdom. When it comes to our relationships, purity needs to be at the foundation of all of them. It should be our goal in every relationship to pursue purity. God calls us to be pure, which means to be “free from what pollutes or weakens; free from moral fault or guilt.” We spent a portion of the lesson focusing on sexual purity, but in reality, God calls us to be pure in all of our relationships. Key Scripture - 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Summary - This was the fourth and final lesson of a four-part series about angels and demons called Supernatural: More Than a Myth. Your student learned about some ways that satanic influence affects their lives. They were challenged to stay on the right path by casting down things in their lives that are against God. It would be wise for you to read Philippians 4:8 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 to help you understand the specific content that the students heard.
