Lesson Summary – This morning, we began a series
called “Man Alive.” The series focuses on the brokenness of all human beings.
At the beginning of the lesson, our expression was directed toward the
brokenness of the world. “Man alive, is our world messed up.” Through the
lesson, we discovered that our world was not originally messed up, in fact,
it was good. But when the first man, Adam, chose to sin, our world took a bad
turn that had a sad result. As a result of sin, death passed on to all men
because all have sinned. The good news is that God had a great plan to restore
all of mankind back to Himself. Jesus died to make the payment for sin and
then rose again proving that sin and death had been conquered. We
challenged your student to trust Jesus as Savior if he/she had never placed
his/her faith in Christ. |
Take a moment this week and ask
your student about when and where he/she trusted Christ as Savior. If you or
your student are not followers of Jesus but would like to know what it means to
have a relationship with Him, be sure to connect with the staff at the church.
Ask someone to show you, from the Bible, how you can have spiritual life.
