Wholly Holy
Objective: Students will learn that God is holy and will
be encouraged to strive to be set apart to Him.
Key Scripture: Isaiah 6:1-3
Key Thought:
You can live holy because you have been made holy.
Lesson Summary: Tonight’s lesson is part of a four-lesson
series called “Elohim: Stand in Awe.”
The word “Elohim” is the Hebrew word for God. This week your student learned
about the holiness of God and how Christians are called to be set apart to God.
God’s standard
of holiness is perfection, which is impossible for us alone. However, your
student was shown that the Holy Spirit is given to us by God to enable us to
live lives pleasing to Him. Take some
time this week to reflect on the fact that God is holy, that He calls us to be
holy, and make choices to pursue holiness.
