Lesson Summary
: Tonight’s lesson is the second part of a
four-part series called “Knowing Jesus:
God, Messiah, Creator, Friend.” Tonight, your student was presented with
overwhelming evidence that Jesus truly is the Messiah, the anointed One of God.
We examined the predictions from the Old Testament and discovered the
fulfillments of those predictions as recorded in the New Testament. We also
examined the science of probability and discovered that the probability of
Jesus fulfilling the prophecies that He did was astronomical. But, He did
fulfill them, making Him the One and Only! We challenged students to trust
Jesus as Savior if they did not have a relationship with Him or trust His
promises in the middle of life’s difficulties.
To demonstrate
their belief that Jesus is the One and Only, we challenged them to post to
social media, write on a notebook or folder, or verbally share this phrase:
“Jesus is the One and Only.”
