And he was a Samaritan. Summary - This lesson was the third lesson in a four-part series called Heart Attack: Don’t Let Your Attitudes Harm You. In this series, we are dealing with heart attitudes. In this lesson, we dealt with another heart attitude, the attitude of ingratitude.  In Luke 17, we studied the story of ten lepers who received healing from Jesus. Only one of the ten lepers turned back to express gratitude to Jesus. This one leper made a deliberate choice to express his gratitude.
