Lesson Summary - Tonight’s lesson was part of a four-part series called “Vanity Fair: The Cost of Wasting Your Life.” It was the second in a series from the Old Testament Book of Ecclesiastes. The goal of this lesson was to help students realize how God can use their enjoyable and painful experiences for their good and for His glory and to help them understand both God’s character and divine direction for their life. We stressed the truth that every moment matters!
This lesson covered the famous poem from Ecclesiastes 3 about time. Our hope is that your student understands that God is in control of time. We used a puzzle piece illustration to help your student understand that God knows what season they are in and how it fits in the full picture of their life. Ask your student what they wrote on their puzzle piece. Then, pray for them and continue to help them through their current season.
